Philosophy

We design not for the moment of arrival, but for the years of living that follow. Every material, proportion, and detail is chosen with intention, knowing that true beauty silently reveals itself through experience, over time.

An Architecture and Interior Design practice based in Delhi NCR, working across residential, hospitality and commercial spaces across India with roots that reach back to 2012. Today, that Design Firm continues as Atelier Shreenu.

The Approach

A process as
deliberate as the work itself.

01

Consultation

Step 1 of 5

Every project begins with a conversation. We take time to understand you, your lifestyle, aspirations, and how you envision living or working within the space. By the end, we arrive at a shared understanding of the project's ambition and how we will work together.

02

Site Analysis

Step 2 of 5

Before a single line is drawn, we study the site and its orientation, topography, vegetation, climate, and immediate context. This deep reading of place ensures that what we design belongs to its location, rather than being imposed upon it.

03

Concept Design

Step 3 of 5

Ideas take form; spatial organisation, architectural language, interior detailing, material palettes, and the experiential character of the project. Your feedback shapes and refines the concept until we arrive at a direction that resonates deeply.

04

Detail Development

Step 4 of 5

An inspired concept must be built on precise thinking. We resolve every junction, intersection, and proportion into fully developed technical drawings, the complete blueprint from which contractors and technicians will work.

05

Execution Guidance

Step 5 of 5

Design does not end on paper. We remain closely involved through construction, making regular site visits, coordinating with engineers and consultants, and ensuring the finished space carries the same integrity as the original vision.

Convictions behind the Studio

Material Excellence

Every element begins with a question of provenance. We source materials for their character, longevity, and relationship to the climate they inhabit, not for trend or convenience. Ecological sensitivity lives within this conviction, not separate from it.

Design Clarity

A calm logic and structural intent run through every plan. Architecture and interiors conceived as a single integrated experience, with Ranjeet's architectural rigour and Shreenu's interior expertise working in tandem from the first line drawn.

Quiet Authority

An approach measured by restraint. Our projects have been featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, and ArchDaily, among other publications. The studio's portfolio has consistently met the standard of refined editorial scrutiny.

Timeless Intention

Whether you're manifesting a refined home, a dynamic workplace, or an elegant establishment, Atelier Shreenu ensures a calm, rigorous design process with a team committed to exceptional execution.

Founded from a decade of thoughtful practice and acclaimed work, Atelier Shreenu builds on the legacy of The Vrindavan Project, established in 2012. Led by interior designer Shreenu Mukherjee and architect Ranjeet Mukherjee, the original practice earned recognition for sensitive heritage restorations, refined hospitality interiors, luxurious farmhouses, and elegant residential projects.

Atelier Shreenu is the next chapter: a more advanced, future-ready studio formed to meet a rising demand for commercial engagements and residential design spanning contemporary aesthetics to classical sensibilities. Combining Shreenu's signature eye for refined detailing in materiality with Ranjeet's strategic architectural leadership, the studio brings together a skilled, multidisciplinary team that balances technology, practicality, and lasting beauty.
