A Living Room

An emerald wall, a hand-knotted rug, and a magenta coffee table base come together in a 5,000-square-foot Delhi farmhouse built around what a family loves, not what convention permits.

There's a question we return to on every project: what should this space make you feel?

For this living room, we didn't want restraint. We wanted a family to walk in and feel unmistakably at home, in a room built around what they actually love rather than what convention permits.

The emerald wall holds the room together with a certain warmth. The hand-knotted rug carries a kind of craft no machine can replicate. A magenta coffee table base breaks the frame just enough to keep the eye moving. Cobalt velvet cushions answer it from the sofa, and the chandelier drops color from above like an afterthought that was anything but.

None of this reads as excess once you understand the confidence behind it, the willingness to commit fully to what a family loves rather than dilute it toward safety.

We're proud of this one. It's a reminder of why we do the work.
